Re: Rear Fog Light DIY Installation (Methods 1 & 2 and 3)
The Ti light stalk and front fog relay will give you the standard Ti fog function with the indicator light on the dash too.
Our Australian T30 Xtrails were not sold with rear foglamp and as such the foglamp switch does not control the rear foglamp relay. You will have to connect a bridge wire from the front foglamp relay to the rear foglamp relay for it to work. The indicator lamp in the dash is also not connected and has no LED for it, though there is a space. Instructions earlier in this thread will show you what is needed to do all of this.

Re: Rear Fog Light DIY Installation (Methods 1 & 2 and 3)
Hi Wiz,
Yes the same relay can run all lamps but there is a separate position for a rear foglamp relay because in the Xtrails sold overseas there was a third switch position for the foglamp on the stalk...Off, Front only, Front+Rear. Unfortunately we only have the 2 positions...Off and On.
Personally I find bright rear foglamps extremely distracting unless the weather absolutely demands it so I have wired mine to be separately switchable.
