Re: Towbar electrics

Lance,

So far you haven't told us what is the purpose of a continues power and what you wanting to use it for. Maybe if we know this we can answer your questions more accurately, as at the moment we're only guessing emoticon

You're welcome to start a thread for the "power packs"

Re: Towbar electrics

I basically want power into the pop-top to run lights occasionally. I doubt I would need to run the fridge on 12v at any stage.

Re: Towbar electrics

Lance,

Cool but isn't it easier and safer to run the pop-top on its own source of power using a separate battery without causing so much load on the primary one you're using for the exy?

Since you're intending to use the battery for such purpose, I think you should seriously consider the dual battery set-up in your exy. (see THIS thread)

Re: Towbar electrics

Fair comment on the dual battery setup J, but I'm finding it hard to justify the cost for the ocassional use I will need.
That may become an option further down the track.
