Tradesman Cargo Barrier

Posted by FJRKYM - Moved from another thread
===========================================================

I have just bought and installed a Tradesman brand cargo barrier.

For $299 (New) I shouldn't complain too much but.

It seems to be a universal fit - no different model for sunroof or not. So it leaves a bit of a gap between the barrier and roof.

It bolts to the cargo anchors on the floor so no mods there.

The roof attaches with Rivnuts to replace the plastic plugs each side of the boot light.

Here are some photos:

posticon Re: Cargo Barrier

I have just purchased a 2nd hand Milford Cargo Barrier off ebay to suit an X Trail without a sunroof.
My question is how do you remove the inner plastic panel between the rear side window and the tailgate?
If you are not sure which panel I am referring to to its the one on page 4 of the instructions posted in the 'DIY how to section' of the forum.
I could just wrench it off but I would like to keep all the fasteners in one piece.

Many thanks in advance for your help and advice.

Re: Cargo Barrier

Resurrecting this old post as I'm about to buy a second hand Milford barrier (for '04 STX with sunroof).
Problem is, is doesn't have a fitting kit.

Does anyone know how much these cost and the best/cheapest place to find one (Victoria).
I've seen a guy on gumtree offering them for $180, but considering I'll be getting this professionally installed, I don't want to blow the budget any more than I have to.
