Jalal,
Without sound all 'technically dumb', how is this going to be done. Do we need to download/install a program prior.
Brett, most of the live chat programs require that your browser is JAVA enabled (it's a simple plug-in) and no other installation is required, as you will just be typing your username and joining an existing chat room.
Have you tried the FREE live chat that we currently have on the Main Site? The program we're looking at the moment will be very similar but will give a bit more control to the admin team in managing a live chat session.

*Date has been set*International X-Trail Meet-Up Day
Hi Guys,
OK, with great help of friends from Australia4WD (Thanks Pete), we now have a good live chat application which will enable us to interact with one another easily and the good thing about it is that log-in details can be translated to many languages.
Have a look at the chat we gonna use HERE
Give it a try, No registration is needed, you just need to type in a nickname and press the "chat" button and you will be in.
I can now announce a meet-up date:
Date: Saturday 25/03/2006
Time: 23:00 EST Sydney Time
Duration: 2.5 Hours max. but can be less.
Topic: Performance Enhancers
Language spoken: English
I have picked the above topic, as it will involve many subjects for discussion and will give each one of us an idea what other countries are experiencing in terms of power mods and the results they're getting. This should be an interesting discussion indeed.
Apart from that, just get the bar fridge nice and close to you and enjoy the live discussion with many passionate xtrailers worldwide.
See/chat to all of you there!

Re: International X-Trail Meet-Up Day
Hi Guys,
Just to confirm that that International Live Chat is going full steam a head and by the looks of it from the responses I have received, it's gonna be HUGE
The following X-Trail Communities have confirmed their participation (or at least some members representing these communities have)
* Canada
* Mexico
* UK & Ireland
* Malaysia
* Singapore
* France (just recently found them)
* Many xtrailers from the Australian Yahoo Forum
And I have just posted the invite successfully in Japanese to X-Trail Japan (thanks for your help Sato and Manuel)
I didn't hear anything formal to confirm the participation of Indonesia, but I hope they'll be there.
I hope that all members of the Australian X-Trail Forum will be able to make it, as this is the first time and we certainly need to show our presence as hosts of this event.
I bet everyone (myself included of course) is looking forward to this event which opens many windows of opportunities to learn new things from each other and establish a common language which we all share.....
The X-TRAIL
Am sure that together we will certainly "SHIFT_the future" LOL
See ya all there @ 11:00pm (Sydney time) on Saturday 25/3/06!

Re: International X-Trail Meet-Up Day
Hi Roger,
The answer is yes.
I have posted a link to our Main Site (where the live chat is currently hosted) on all forums (along with the date and time)
So, all that guests need to do is click on that link and then click on live chat, put their username and they're in.
I have already seen guys log-in there and try it out (which is a good sign) some even opted to register which is even better.
What I will ask members to do on all forums is maybe put the country 3 letter code against their username, so we know where they're from.
So for us here, we will put AUS
