Re: ARB Color-coded nudge bar!

Hi Brenton,

It is just my computer or is there something wrong with the pic and link you posted? as I can't see any photo and the link is broken.

Hi Jalal,

Thanks for that - I had put the full stop inside the url field!! Fixed now.

I don't think the pic link will work, maybe yahoo won't allow deep-linking

Re: ARB Color-coded nudge bar!

Very nice harryzell!

I havn't got the lights yet so it will be interesting to see whether they stick out.

Mine was a bit more than that - $445 fitted and color coded - I assume the difference was the pearl paint.

Will be good to see them next to each other on Saturday.

Anybody have any ideas about the wiring loom?

dviv,

Richi picked-up the wiring harness/loom for his 240's from nissan for less than $100 (I think he got it from Nissan Rockdale) give them a buzz and find-out the exact pricing.

When I bought my Hella's it already came with the wriring loom and the guys the local 4wd shop just throw-in the light switch for me when the fitted my lights.

Re: ARB Color-coded nudge bar!

I seem to remember that I was quoted about $130 for the loom from my dealer. The Narvas came with all the wiring in the packet, but I bought the genuine switch ($30) purely so it would look good emoticon

Re: ARB Color-coded nudge bar!

Just called Nissan - wiring comes in four parts:

Harness
Relay Bracket
Relay
Switch

$125.45 all up...

ARB was cheaper at $110 - and another $100 for installation. hrm.....

Re: ARB Color-coded nudge bar!

dviv,

Give these guys a call, as I think they got it cheaper and their fitting charges are cheaper as well (they fitted my Hella's for me and as a matter of fact they fitted all of my accessories as well-including nudge, side steps, tow-bar and roof racks)

Town & Country Vehicle Accessories
298 King Georges Rd Beverly Hills 2209 (02) 9758 2500

Also, give the auto electrician I told you about earlier a call for a price as well.

That's of course unless you prefer to go nissan genuine, then it's up to you, as ARB quoted you on non-genuine kit. (personally I don't think it would make any difference, as the switch I got sits perfectly in-dash and it's black matching all other switches)

Jalal has responded for me already emoticon

I reckon you could fit three Blitz 240's on that nudge bar - I know I'd try!

Sorry Rich, didn't mean to spoil the surprise for you, but I thought you were "on leave" from the forums and decided to fill in the boys over your findings instead of them looking for it through the many topics. emoticon

Now that you're back from leave, you can resume your duties emoticon
