No hallucinogen substances as far as I know come standard, but Xtrail drivers in Sydney who cant wash their cars due to water restrictions could inadvertantly be growing mushrooms in the mud accumulating in the wheel arches.

LSD = Limited Slip Diff ??
No, not between wheels on the same axel, but the "lock 4x4" mode locks is something like 55/45 torque locked between front and rear axels.
Not a Limited Slip Diff though.

So if you get one wheel up in the air, would that mean that you'd go nowhere because the freewheel would be soing all the spinning and no torque would be going to the remaining 3 wheels?

Or maybe it was the front right wheel that was spinning in the dirt because the front left was airborne...

I'm sure I had it in LOCK at the time, too.

If you check out the Tallarook video on "the other website", it appears that there is LSD between the back wheels ... the left rear is high in the air and doesn't budge while the other 3 are driving.

I always though that if you had one wheel airborne, then that would effectively take all the torque/power for that axel, but by having it in lock, (or just auto if its the front that are spinning), then roughly half the torque would be sent to the other axel.

I really should've convinced Clare to jump out and see what was happening...

I'm quite sure I wouldn't have had all 3 or 4 wheels spinning!
