Re: Xtrail Fuel injector rebuild Cheep Cheep!! DIY and UPDATE!

Thank you Scott...these are so helpfull for me...!

It seems like i indeed have to remove the upper part of the manifold..to get access on the injectors...

I saw the clips holding them in place, i suppose they can fully be removed one by one, and let free the injectors...

I will start collecting the "tools", cables, battery, etc, to do it like described here.

Re:

Just an update to this thread. Have just completed a rebuild of injectors on a T30 2002 X-Trail. Despite 298k, I tested them after removal and before tear down and they were working perfectly. So probably didn't need cleaning after all, but now job done and ticked of the list.

Found that I needed to take off the valve cover to be able to remove the fuel rail and injectors with it. Makes it easier to get to the bolts holding the rail also. So easy to reassemble. Couldn't disconnect fuel line to the rail as had no special tool (the tools sold at auto shops are not the right one), so disconnected at the firewall as no tool needed there.

Parts cost $9 plus postage. Mrinjectors (recommended by Evorock) does not ship to Australia anymore, but do check out their vid on rebuilding the injector on their website, as it shows how to do the job easily.

For me, a T30 with injector number FBJC101, the rebuild kit needed was this:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222749981383 Listing doesn't mention T30 or Xtrail, so best check and supply them your part number first. Cost for full kit was around $12 and best of all an Australian supplier.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the update, especially on Mr Injector not shipping to AUS anymore and the alternate AUS supplier.
Could you update your post to include the seller name please as that will most likely stay around longer than the item listing link.
