Hi Tony,
I was supposed to remove only one bracket on the left hand side but I removed the one from the RHS that secured onto a cable with the plastic clipper as well. Only realised when I read the installation manual again. Many thanks to your ealier encouragement 'do it you yourself ' post emoticon

Thanks Translucidus. It was a well worth time spending, leant a few things about the exy's audio head and surround plastic panel, auto climate control tube connection..etc... even the wife was impressed emoticon

Eddie, just read the installation intruction manual a few times and you can do it yourself. But you need a panel trim removal set to do the job, they are very good, they didn't leave any scratch or mark at all on my plastic panel considering I used quite a lot of force emoticon I'm not a mechanical minded person at all but I did it so I'm sure you can do it as well.

I'm glad it's given you the confidence guys, just about anything can be done if you are willing to have a go.
I don't really think a panel clip remover is necessary, it's only the radio fascia and the A pillar cover that needs to be removed, both come off quite easily.

Re:

LOL emoticon For 9+ I have been removing the exy dash panels and trims using knifes and spoons and all sorts of things, with the Red Bull I reckon I better invest in this fancy panel removal kit and I found many of them on eBay for $24 bucks or so (it's a 9 piece plastic tool set). I am sure am gonna put it to good use as I like dismantling panels. hahahaha emoticon

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. I think I can tackle it, buy the right tools and have the right mindset. We're leaving for Sydney in a week or so, maybe best left until after the move and not risk having to drive up with wires and trims all over the place if I dont get it finished!! emoticon

Re: Genuine Nissan Bluetooth Kit

Hi guys, sorry to reignite an old post. Does any have the install guide handy? I have an 07 t31 that I am changing the head unit on and wanted to see how the wiring goes.

Potentially looking at adapting the old Bluetooth buttons to the new head unit.
