T30 shocks - replace at 170k while doing suspension lift? Hi guys,
I'm getting a suspension lift from Pedders and they recommended replacing the shocks merely based on that i still seem to have the originals at just under 170k km.
Their shocks are $250 a pop, so add $1k to the whole endeavour.
Wondering if i should go for it or just get the springs?
Also, they measured the wheel arches and said the car (quite loaded) is sitting about 40mm lower than factory standard right now.
Sorry for opening a new post, i tried to browser the existing threads but couldn't find anything definitive.

Re: T30 shocks - replace at 170k while doing suspension lift? I would do it if I were you.
I've got the Pedders TrakRyder kit of struts & springs in my T30 and its great. Only sits like 20mm higher than stock, but it's definitely better both on tar and on the tracks
I actually replaced mine becasue the original shocks went soft, rather than the springs.
They are designed to work together - anything else will be sub-optimal
