Re:
Hi Peter,
If it's 2004, it'd be T30 Series II
You can tell by looking at the reflectors in the rear bumper, they would be round reflectors compared to the rectangular ones of the Series I
As to how to post photos on the forum, we have added links as part of the welcome post when you joined the forum, one of them was a link to the site navigation & guides which will be a useful reference for you to bookmark, check it out HERE
Hope this help

Re: What series is my X-Trail?
So,...can anyone explain this...
Selling 2004 Nissan X-Trail T30 4x4 4 Speed Auto.
Only 176,000 KM with full service history.
Im thinking of asking for the VIN so I can punch it into FAST and verify. Just pisses me off as I sold mine for $1000 less, if they are misrepresenting this car as a 2004 Series II, and its not even a Ti either.
Even the Government website says it's a 08/2004 model:

Re: What series is my X-Trail?
As far as I remember the only external differences between the Series 1 and Series 2 which were not interchangeable were the front bumper and grill. The front bumper being different also meant the nudge bar was different for the Series 2 because of the profile it had to fit around.
The rear bumper was physically the same but with different reflectors so my guess is that they have put a Series 1 rear bumper onto a Series 2 as a replacement themselves probably due to some scrapes or dents.

Re: What series is my X-Trail?
That was the only explanation I came up with earlier today too....
And I think its a Ti too, fog lights, 6x CD stacker, cruise, climate control, seat trim.
Which means both rear bumper and tailgate have been replaced...
Buyer beware, huh!
