TX valve


Hi all, my wife has a 2002 TI xtrail and the air con is not working,although the compressor and clutch are working.My air conditioner repairer is unsure where the TX valve is, can anyone advise where to find it

How does he confirm the compressor is working ?
Just because the clutch comes in and out with the aircon switch does not mean the internals of the compressor are OK.
I had a compressor fail on my Xtrail as it was not cooling the air into the cabin although the clutch was working.

If you find you do need a replacement my post at the bottom of the first page in this thread gives details of where to get a cheaper replacement.

The ESM shows it on the back of the evaporator in the main cabin with the blower unit.
