T31 - PEDDERS LIFT KIT - OPINIONS

Hi All,

After going through the various posts regarding lifting the T31, I could not find an answer to my question , so yet another post regarding lift kits etc.

Did any of you guys installed the Pedders Kit as per below link? I saw that many just changed the front and rear springs to achieve the rise of around 30- 35 mm, but did any one used teh shocks mentionned in the lift kit ? IF yes any noticeable improvements in handling, ride quality etc?

Pedders 1.75 inch Lift Kit

Thanks a lot!

Re: T31 - PEDDERS LIFT KIT - OPINIONS

momoxtrail,

The below mentioned lift kit seems to be not much different to our locally available king springs which give you approx. 30mm lift.

While it says 1.75 inch (44mm) i would dare say the rear shocks and front struts are very close to stock, if not, standard spec components with longer springs.

I have had the higher springs fitted for some time and i have noticed that they are stiffer than the stock springs.
Body roll is minimal and handling is true and not too sloppy.

I did ad a strut bar in the engine bay to help with these factors as well.

I was about to install a lift kit i purchased from Russia only to find out the front strut spacers have been supplied for the T30 not T31.

stay tuned, i will update when and if complete.

Thanks for the feedback,

I was thinking that while I am at changing the springs might be a good idea to change the shocks, no sure what is the lifespan of the stock ones? My exy is at 107,000km now.

Rgds
