posticon unidentiried objects (not flying)

Firstly this is under the bonnet on the right hand side. It looks like an electrical connection, but to what and why?

The second one is under the drivers seat and it looks like its wired to the seat. Surely not an ejector seat!

Any suggestions will be helpful, even humorous ones.

The one under the seat is probably for heated or electric seats.

Re: unidentiried objects (not flying)

From what I can see in the electronic service manual, the connector under the bonnet on the right hand side is for an optional bonnet switch, probably for linking into a factory alarm system probably fitted to overseas T30's

Re:

Thanks guys. Interesting. Could the one under the seat be connected somehow with an air bag? What would an optional bonnet switch do? and could that connector be used for something else?
