2017 T32 series II X-Trail

Hi all,
just took possession of a brand new 2017 ST-L 2WD Exxy T32 series II and after being a Nissan fan for years, (I've bought 4 newies over the years) this is by far the worst!
I traded a 2012 T31 series IV for this and that was a better car. Nissan need to rethink their designs....or sack the engineers responsible.
Comparing the T32 to the T31, here's a list of what I reckon about the T32:
The handy storage compartment with a lift up lid on the dash has gone.
Door pockets are awkward to get into unless the door/s are open.
Seat belt receptors are deep down and more difficult to fasten.
The storage console between the seats is sited too far back for comfort.
The door pillar blocks more view than previous models.
The sloping roof line means the seat has to be lower than you maybe like to enable getting in and out without cracking your scone!
NOW for the big one...whatever clown decided on these foot operated "handbrakes" should be marched out to the jungle and left for the lions. If you have legs any longer than a shortish leprechaun, you will be banging your knee on the wheel before you can get your foot over the pedal. It's way too high and can't be adjusted I'm told. Mine is gonna get adjusted with an oxy and welder if necessary!!
Add to this, after I drove the car out of the yard and travelled all of 300 metres a "system warning" came up. Took it back and a week later finally got the car back after the cruise control had to be reset. Apparently the equipment needed to repair/reset this had to come from interstate. Well done Nissan, sell the bloody cars before backups are in place!
I don't know if the dealer had to take the front panels off to access the sensors but the car is going back tomorrow again as I noticed a wobbly front right panel which seems to not be
"clipped in" properly and is not aligned like the left. What a schemozzle, last Nissan for me.

I have to ask...

Did you actually get in and Drive this 2017 model before you bought it ??

Some of those issues seem glaringly obvious that a test drive would have picked up and you could have reconsidered your purchase...
