Accessories for camping in X-Trail

My partner and I are very happy new owners of a 2007 ST-S. We have realised that the back is big enough for us to sleep in with the seats down, so we can use it for camping when we don't want to pull a caravan. Does anyone else do this regularly? What kind of mattress did you buy and are there any other accessories you would recommend? We have a gazebo we can set up as a living area and I'm thinking a tarp over the vehicle might be a good idea too but if you have any other suggestions, they would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Re:

Try a self-inflating mattress. They are pretty comfy. Takes little time to set up and pack away. Just be really organised since you are sleeping in the car which means taking everything out of the car and stacking them in another spot. Good quality stackable containers or space cases might be the way to go.
