Re: Hi - is there any way to get the photos in the first post working again please? I'm keen to see what to look out for and what regular maintenance to perform to keep the dreaded rot away.
cheers

Re: T31 potential rust under rear boot door rubber. Found this while detailing my 2010 T31. Clear plastic protector had gone unbeknown to me, and 5 spots of deep rust had occurred where bump rubber protrusions had worn away paint. Have since repaired with rust converter and touch up paint. New plastic cut from 2 layers of clear contact. Cheers - Davo.

Re: Rust Prevention Thanks for that Davo.
Just went outside and checked my 2010 T31.
RHS still perfect. The clear circular plastic protector is in pristine condition.
On the LHS however, same as yours, the plastic protector is torn and there is a small section of paint worn through and metal slightly pitted.....potential rust spot as you have stated. I already have touch up paint to suit so I will give it a coat tomorrow.
Interesting how both yours and mine is the left hand side only??
cheers
