Beerburrum State Forest – Sunday 13th April
Hi Guy’s
We are thinking of doing the Beerburrum State Forest run for the “Dirty Weekend’s” again on Sunday 13th April, I know it’s late notice but we are desperate to get out of the house.
We will go regardless but it would be great if we could get a couple of others to go with us.
We will have Tyler aged 6 in tow so kids are most welcome.
Please let us know if you would like to join up we thought we could meet at McDonalds again.
McDonald's in Caboolture at 18 BEERBURRUM RD at around 8:00am
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
* please read the event rules before coming on this trip. They can be viewed HERE
* All participants on this run are to have signed off on the new trip rules as posted HEREbefore being allowed to attend this trip.
If you have non members attending this event, could they please read the rules and have them acknowledged by a member of the forum on their behalf!
**
What to bring on the day if you have it, it is not a requirement to attend. Lunch, 2way radio's (we share them around so its ok if you don't have any), recovery equipment (shouldn't be needed but handy to have).

Re:
Hi Tracey,
For the first timers among (OK..me), can you clear up a couple of things:
* Is there any permits required?
* Are there any food facilities around, or is it more picnic style?
* How long (time) is the run?
* Complexity of the run. I have bash plates, but are they needed?
I have had another member email me saying there are interested too.
Cheers,
Mark

Re:
Hey, may have another forum (long time no online activity, cause his world revolves around the iphone and logging in is just too tiresome as well as he works 18 hour days and all the excuses under the sun) but yes, Son of Thunda says he will come along as well. He has a Patrol - very beat up mind you but a patrol none the less.
He has read and confirmed rules so no drama there.
Mark, from memory - no permits needed, take food, bash plate is good, most of the day, xtrails have done it before. Check out this trip report
Hope this helps.
