posticon Hi ,from new couple from Vic.

Hello Everyone.
We just purchased yesterday (not yet taken delivery) of a 2010 ST.
Petrol engine, CVT, 4wheel drive. Colour according to Nissan is "Flint" and it's done 53,000 k's.

We are getting a few little options added like fitting the Fog lights, tow bar and reversing sensor (not camera) just the beeper.

Hopefully collecting the car in a fortnight or a bit sooner so until then we'll be checking out the forums.

Re: Hi ,from new couple from Vic.

Thanks for the message.
I'll have a play in control panel today to see what information we can update.

We used to own Lada Nivas and when there was a Lada 4x4 club we did some serious off-roading in the little cars.

That was many years ago and we don't go off road in any real sense anymore.

We were not specifically looking for an X-Trail though it was on our shopping list. We'd also looked at Subaru Forestors and Outbacks And Hyundai i30's.

One of our little hatchbacks is getting a bit long in the tooth and our old trailor we used for many tasks was getting old and taking up space so we thought we get one larger vehicle to replace our hatchback and the trailor. We just happened to stumble across this X-Trail which we got through a Nissan dealer and according to them at least had only gone in the yard that morning.

We would not go for a diesal version as we do too many short trips through the week and though we both prefer manual transmissions over auto's we went for the CVT for convienience factor in traffic.

As an aside I helped a family friend choose a new Renault Koleos a few years ago which I understand is based around the X-Trail.
