Re: POLL: How much did you pay for your xtrail?

2012 T31 Ti 4WD in Twilight with tint, rust proofing, tow kit and mats was an even $50. I think driveaway the initial price was $49,500 but they threw in a $1,000 discount and the $500 for metalic paint to get me to sign on the day. Since I was trading in my prized Focus RS I needed to do it like a bandaide and make the decision on the spot - which I did. I used the 0.9% finance offer too sothey didn't have much room to move on the $$

Awesome! Yeah I got the 0.9% - I wasn't going to get my X-Trail till January, but the Nissan deal-o where they pay you for three months was too sweet with the 0.9%.

With the rust proof & paint - was it separate or part of some weird club thing they do. I need to read up on the paperwork to see what it's called.

Nah it was just a separate thing they were pushing. The tinting was probably a hundred or so more than I could have done after purchase but I was always meaning to do it to my last car and never got round to it =)

The deal they have to the end of this month really is too hard to pass up isn't it. When I make a decision I need to act fast so when I signed the papers on Monday I said that I needed to drive home with a new X-Trail on Wednesday - that put them in a spin, and also denoted what colour I would be getting too.

Re: POLL: How much did you pay for your xtrail?

I have my New Vehicle Tax Invoice in front of me.

Specs:
- X-Trail T31 2.5 STL Auto April 2010 build. Purchased August 2010.

Accesories;
Leather Protection; Window Tint (Front passenger/driver sides); Reverse Sensors; Rubber Xtrail floor mats; Fog Lights; NISSAN tow bar/hitch; Roof bars; Cargo blind.

Total: $41,790.01 (yeah I made my Credit Union cheque out to include the 1c!!! lol)

Don't Know whether it was a great deal or not but their first quote was near $48,000.00 which was a NO NO and the salesman went back to check with the boss?? 3 times before we came to an agreement.

Since then have fitted full undebody protection (bash plates), Pedders spring lift and larger Yoko Geo AT-S (G012) tyres all round including spare on genuine XTRAIL 17" alloy rim purchased on ebay.

cheers

Haha, what the hell the 1 cent.

Got pics?

What's the pedders spring lift? Like suspension - but what does it do? give you a smoother ride? or better for off road use? Maybe need to start this in a different thread lol

Hi Joey,
You can use the search feature to find info on suspension lifts in the Braking, Handling & Suspension thread. Larger springs gave the vehicle a suspension lift which combined with underbody protection and larger diameter all terrain tyres enables the exy to tackle a lot rougher terrain etc.

You can right click on the image of my vehicle under my memebership details on the left to view a larger picture.

cheers

Know how you feel I was originally going to trade my Focus xr5 for an RS, I just love that generation with the awesome burbling turbo 5, going to miss it. The extrail however ticked all the practicality boxes so decision made on the spot.

I know I didn't get the best price but I am happy and I did manage to get a really really good trade in on my Focus

Mine is a brand spanking new 2012 TL diesel manual in white. Tint for the front windows, smoked bonnet protector and rubber rear boot liner. $47,000 drive away. I think that is reasonable given the awesome finance that Nissan offered.
