Re:
Good stuff Steve, everytime I turn off the ignition with the windows down, I thank John for being able to solve this problem for us and get the T31 to operate like my T30 used to LOL

Re: Power Window Relay T31
Hi Guys,
Great to see that your enjoying the delay unit given the time and effort that both of you put into it. If your previous cars did not have delay on the windows, you don't think much about it. However, if you have come from owning previous cars or have a second car that does have it, it's almost alien like.
I fitting a unit to Rex this weekend and will be able to get a couple of pictures I need to complete the install guide. Hopefully we should have it online very soon.
From what we have learnt in the past weeks, the one guide will suit as there is only one model of BCM.
Cheers
John

Re: Power Window Relay
Hi Guys,
I read Jalal's post in the Replacement timing Belt thread and Nissan charging $120 an hour. You wouldn't want them spending two hours trying to work out why the windows still go up and down with the key out and adding that to your service. Probably a good idea to let them know that it has this feature and that it is not a fault.

Re:
I don't think they would care mate. After taking my highly modified T30 and now the T31, they even thought the Hyper Rails were an option that was offered by Nissan Australia LOL

John,
You wouldn't consider adding a "service switch" into the case that could be used to isolate power to the relay function when dropping the car off for servicing ?

Re: Power Window Relay T31 Series
Hi Kev,
You are certainly correct. By placing a small toggle switch in line with the brown wire to where we tap into the accessories, will certainly disable the delay. However I was trying to keep everything local to the BCM, out of sight, out of mind. A switch mounted in the box is also an option but each time you went to the dealers, you would have to remove the glove box, scale of difficulty of 11.5. I'm sure the service guys have a schedule to keep to, so looking for things outside what's reported probably isn't a factor.
Cheers
John

Re:
Big thanks have to go out to John. I received the unit this week and have installed it.
Just took me about an hour to install, using those very clear and concise instructions.
You wouldn't even suspect the unit was installed into the car, and the kit John sent me, had everything in it.
I must admit though, before i started the only part that was scaring me, was removing the PVC sheath from those 2 wire. So i made sure i used a very sharp knife and chipped away it slowly and carefully, not damaging any of the conductors. Good thing they are thick wires!
Cheers again mate!
