Re: T31 X-Trail Auto window-up Bug

 emoticon

Worked for me, too. emoticon

Battery disconnected whilst hyper roof rails fitted and auto-up disengaged (as well as radio & clock displays).

Re: T31 X-Trail Auto window-up Bug

Sorry... just to check... if the window auto up goes to the top then bumps back down.... the 20 second thing won't help? I'd have to do the "long" way opening the armrest and with the reset button?

I am in the process of purchasing an X-trail (hopefully in about 11 days!!) and was told it would cost the dealer $700 to repair this feature which, of course, they refuse to do....

I'll be stoked if this solution can fix it for me!!! emoticon

Thanks...

PS.... It's a 2004 ST series 2 emoticon

Re:

This fix is only applicable to the T31 model. You have a T30 and it's a different problem all together that has nothing to do with auto window-up issue. Sounds like a fault window mechanism.

Re: T31 X-Trail Auto window-up Bug

Hmmm... :/
So whats the difference between 31 and 30?

I thought a couple of others had the bumping issue too and fixed it with the reset button...

Can you help me find any info on the auto window fault on ST then please? I've searched the forums and can't find anything else.

Re:

X-Trasil models for years between 2001 and 2007 are T30 models and the ones after that are the new shape T31 models.

Try THIS fix and see if it helps solve the problem. You don't need to remove the entire door trim, just unclip the top section where the window controls are located (lift it up).
