Re:

I have a question for the Series 3 TI owners.
What is the little black button on the outside drivers and passengers door handle for?

Re:

Tony,

That's a Series 3 and 4 keyless entry button which is only available in the Ti and TL top of the range models.

More details HERE

Yeah Scot, I couldn't believe how much more features they decided to include in the Ti and TL compared to the previous Ti version and that's still not the entire set of features compared to Europe.

One thing I forgot to check and which one of our Series 3/4 members may able to confirm, was the addition of the 12 volt outlet in the front glovebox/storage compartment. Has Nissan finally added one in there?

Re: Face-lift for the T31 X-Trail (Series 3) - Including 2WD Version (Series 4)

Jalal,

That would be great.

My latest model TS dCi doesnt have it. The shape of the box has changed a lot though.

Do you know if there is a wiring plug somewhere near there to connect a DIY socket to?

One new thing I noticed in there is an air vent valve that let's you select cooling or heating of the glove box. When I say new, I mean compared to my 2009 ST.

Re:

Alex,
just splicing off the cigarette lighter socket would be the easiest way.

Yeah Alex, an outlet can be added in there as an extension from the lower one they provide, but I just thought maybe they gonna save me some time mucking around and do this mod. Obviously not and am gonna have to do it myself for the Red Bull emoticon

Re: Face-lift for the T31 X-Trail (Series 3) - Including 2WD Version (Series 4)

Hey!

Second post here guys! I'm looking for a definitive answer on the Series III T31 with regards to the new front styling (bumper, grill and lights) and the other features of this facelift (updated leather?, etc).

The x-trail I'm seriously considering (Series 3, ST-L August 2010 build) is unable to be seen (ex nissan executive).

My question is, does it promised to have this face lift if the vehicle is series 3? I'm a little concerned that it doesn't guarantee it since some series 3 on Carsales.com.au show the old styling.

Obviously it would be best to get someone to "check", but the dealer seemed reluctant to do so

Thanks for any input!
Aaron
