Re:

Have checked out most connections and now there is another piece to add to the problem which started today while I was out!

When stopped at a set of lights the car idles around 1000 rpm then drops back to around 5oorpm and even having my foot on the brake firmly the car starts to surge back and forth with the revs!

So can not wait to get this in tomorrow and later on I will capture a short video of what I am talking about!

Regards Scot

Re:

Scot,

Whatever is causing these problems is sending the wrong signals to the sensors and in this case it could be the wrong reading by the Throttle Position Sensor, I just hope it's not the ECU itself that is at fault, as we already had a case of a faulty ECU in the T31.

I hope you get it sorted tomorrow.

Re:

Well the verdict is in and they are saying a starter motor is at fault and causing the electrical"s to go crazy.

Now they have to apply to have this issue done under warranty and will let me know as soon as they can.

Thanks for all your input!

Regards Scot

Re:

Scot,

I told your it could be a T30 related issue didn't I. The starter motor issue for a T30 exy was reported HERE previously and you can only hope Nissan will cover it under warranty cause the price they sell them for is astronomical. If they don't cover it by warranty for some reason, take yours to an auto electrician and get it re-conditioned or try finding one at the wreckers and/or eBay.

Re:

Exy is at the dealers as the engine light come on and they have the car booked in for a new starter tomorrow.

Have a Nissan Navara for the loan car and will all let you know what is the outcome of this!
