Poll: T31 Strut Spacers
So, following on davnrox's comment in the other thread.
quote: Yep we popped in there the other day and looks like they are going to jerk us around "yes we are going to do it and we want your car but not until we get more orders" as Stephen said
I thought i would put up a poll to gauge interest in T31 spacers for Superior Engineering.
I will volunteer for my car to be the ginea pig.
The question is: how many of us here, would purchase the spacer kit if Superior went ahead with it.

Re: Poll: T31 Strut Spacers
Trouble is Ashley that according to Superior the series 3 struts are different to the series 2. This is why they are wanting to get more orders as we might be the only ones who want them

===========================================
Hi all, I lifted my T30 with an ARB kit which got me 35mm rear, 25mm front.
Now want to lift my T31 (anyone from WA knows how soft the sand is and what its like bottoming out on toyota made ruts).
Saw the forum posts from last year about the 50mm spacer lift kit from superior engineering.
At $400 it looks like a great option. I emailed them to see if they had manufactured any yet. 'Luke Stallan' emailed back saying:
"We still need a car for the template. The newer shape has a slightly different pattern for the strut. If we can get a car in for fitment we should be able to fit the spacers for free it would just cost the $400 for the spacers. But we will need the car for a day for 2 separate days."
Looks like they are happy to do the kit if someone is willing to be the first
Unfortunately I can't get to their QLD workshop from WA but thought I'd do a new post to let people know the option is there if someone is happy to take it up.

p.s. If no-one goes for it I plan to just go the ARB kit again.

Re:
I have a question in regards to this.
Are Superior going to engineer something to lift the wishbone suspension up at the back as well?
The struts are only on the front in a T31.

Re: Poll: T31 Strut Spacers
If you could move superior engineering closer to Melby I'd be interested.
Unfortunately at the moment just a little too far away.
But I would be curious to know how it would be implemented - how much the wheels will be moving back towards the exy centre-line, will new shocks be required to regain full travel.
Do they also provide engineering certificates if required? (Don't know if they are, just thought I'd ask though, would the lift affect road-worthy, insurance etc?)
Well I suppose I could e-mail them directly...
If the rear of the series 3 is different to the series 2 i'm guessing they'd need one of each to test out.
Anyone got a teleport?
