Re: Angel Eyes

Hey Guys

Out side fit. same ring as shown on bottom of page 8.

Waterproof Mmmm? I ran 70mm rings in the fog holes till I could install the lamp assy's didn't have any issues with rain etc. Immersion may be different Thinking of clear resin coating them, Painting the rings with enamel should insulate the solder on the Leds.

bonding to glass will be a sika flex or similar. Currently the fit is Blue Tac (not road friendly)

Nightshot comming (with daylight saving and twilight it is still light here till about 9.30pm)

Stay tuned.

I thinks those angel eyes will more fit with a Bi-Xenon/HID. That's only my opinion.
But, those angel eyes will fit with my Autech for sure and make it more beautiful.

Park lights are running 1w Led T10 bulbs. can provide link needed.

I found the Led strips in the parkers did not hold as well as I had hoped. Due mostly to the lens shape and the cold down here. Still looking for a solution.

Cheers

Ps here's My Work Van with the LED strip Kev & I have been playing with.

Re: Angel Eyes

I like the blending of the rings with the parkers. Same colour whiteness and brightness.
Yes Les, please include a link for the parkers too.
Did you find the rings had a similar whiteness and brightness to the strips ?

Re:

The surround for the fog light is pretty bright. Almost as if the fog light itself is on. Be carefull driving around like that Les, you might get $94 fine for having 'fog' lights on.
Those T10 bulbs look good, I've seen them on ebay and wondered if they were any good, only cheap too.

Re: Angel Eyes

Regarding LED Parkers, I tried these from ebay AutoPlatonium retailer:

Image

Although quite bright I found them too bluish next to the headlights (50% brighter bluish narva bulbs) and not as visible as the standard factory incandescent T10 which has a more even light in the parker reflector.

The police have eagle eyes for bluish non standard illumination - better to have something at least whitish compared to headlights (all leds make headlights look yellow); even if brighter

These are better and less bluish - have them in my rear number plate lights too:

$12.99 for two + $5 postage

Re:

I have used and still using THESE ones. They last for ages, very bright white and perfectly match other white LED/HID lights.
