Re: 100.000 ks club

Could I suggest we add a little more interest to this thread by tracking the oldest X-trail and the longest period of ownership by a member as well as the largest mileage?
I know that some have added their vehicle age but could everyone do that? If a vehicle was bouight second-hand perhaps both its age and period of ownership could be detailed.

Mine was purchased new in April 2002, almost 8 years and has done 139,00 km.

It has been the least troublesome of any of my approx. 21 vehicles owned over a 50 year period.

Just past the 163000 ks, bought it at 82000, its a 2002, just fitted new back rotors and pads, did the front rotors/pads at 150000, shes going really well, I tow a Jayco pop top 13ft all up weight of 1250 kgs, I change oil and filter every 6000 ks.. will buy another when this is past [sign in to see URL] thing I had to fix was oxygen sensor boss, cost $50, a couple sets of tyres/ rotors/pads and a battery. so no complaints.

Our exy is a 2004 St T30 11 purchased second hand in august 2008 with around 60k on clock ..now is heading close to 100k and tows our tinny and our 14 ft poptop van with ease ..
we've had many 4x4s over the years and this one rates way up top for looks ,comfort , reliability and economy and not necessary in that order ...

Re: 100.000 ks club

I think I may have the highest km so far - 210,000km on a 2005 ST. Although I can't take credit for these km as I've only owned the car for 2 weeks. I was told that the car used to be a company car that was driven from one end of tasmania to the other and back again on a weekly basis (about 1,000km return). Fingers crossed I'lll keep the car for another 200,000km...
